Package Palling

I stumbled upon the Package Pal program hosted by Jamie at CRAFT completely by accident and I am so happy I did! It looked like a really fun opportunity so I signed myself up along with my sister. Not long after, I knew who my Package Pal was! The adorable Megan from Our Pinteresting Family was my partner who I would put together a surprise for and she would do the same for me!

I received my package last week and was so happy with what I was sent. This is what I recieved. Megan was so thoughtful and sent me some gorgeous things.
The main item was this cute framed monogram art which I now having sitting on top of my dresser.

And then there was a very cute stencilled burlap pencil case with bakers twine inside! Consider me one happy girl because the pencil case in down right gorgeous and I have been wanting some bakers twine for like ever.

I hope Megan enjoys the present I sent to her as much as I love hers. This is what I sent her...
This gorgeous box that I painted and decorated was filled with lots of surprises.

I included earrings and a necklace. About a year ago, I made myself the exact same earrings and because I wear them so much and love them, I was sure Megan would too. They are so great because they are simple enough to be worm casually and elegant enough to be worn formally at the same time! I love the necklace too. It was tied bead necklace with ribbon.

I included 2 handmade cards. There were meant to be three, but I stuffed up on one and was running out of time, but I hope Megan will enjoy the two just as much. I know I love them!

Last but not least, I sent Megan some cute, matching fabrics to add to her fabric stash and use for her own project! I can't wait to see what she does end up using them for. When we were exchanging emails getting to know each other, Megan said she liked "fall" stuff. Well, we're in Australia here and we don't celebrate fall, and even if we did it's called autumn, and it's in March. So that was a bit hard for me... but I like that these fabrics are in fall autumn colours, so I could still send something a bit "fall-y" to her.

The CRAFT Package Pal program is hosted by Jamie four times a year and I think I'll be signing up again next time too!

Happy Package Palling Megan (and all the other gift senders and receivers out there!)

  3. Thanks for hosting Jamie! It was so much fun! I found the storage box at Spotlight (not sure if you have it in the US ... it's a big craft store) and then I painted it and lined the inside.
