Hello friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by at my blog! I suppose you'd like to know more about me, after all, that's why you're here right?Well, I'm a country girl in love with...
life, baking yummy things, blogging, taking photos, making memories, little kids, hot chocolates, typography, Photoshop, her Macbook, the beach, gorgeous houses, snuggling up by the fire, Chinese food, travelling, board games, sunglasses, shoes, sewing, helping other people, Pinterest, Facebook,
inspirational quotes, friendly people, cute cats and dogs, smiles, singing badly, magazines (Frankie, Inside Out, Australian House and Garden), chic flicks, wide open spaces and adorable stationery.
I live on a sheep, cropping and cattle farm 200km south of Perth in Western Australia, just out of a lovely rural town. I think it's the best place in the whole wide world, even though I love to travel and see new places. In 2008, my whole family spent 10 months living in France, so I am proud to say I speak (sort-of-hardly-not-any-more) fluent French. I have also been to Japan, Taiwan and a few other European countries. My dream though is to visit Finland!
I love the little town I live in, that's why I'm on the local tidy towns committee. I also help out at the local primary school 2 or 3 times a week with oral language. Oh yes, and I'm on the YAC Committee.
I can't say I'm a fashionista, but I do care about what I wear everyday. Did you want to see what I wear everyday too? It's a good thing I have started my own fashion diary then.
This blog is where I share everything, whether it be about a craft project, something about everyday life or the main purpose for starting this blog... about our guest cottage renovation!
If you want to know more about our renovation of Wattle Cottage, I suggest you start by reading the story of the house. Then you might like to see how we made a magical entryway, or the great things we have in plan for the master bedroom and the third bedroom.
If you want to know more about me, you could check out the post where I shared 10 (maybe) unknown facts about me or my first ever post on this blog.
It means a lot to me to have you stopping by, so please, leave a comment below and introduce yourself. I don't want to be the only one doing the talking!
Have a great day,
S xx
P.S. Smile, you are beautiful :)
